The LADA Group Supports Hugs & Bags

Hugs And Bags “Helps!”

San Diego Cares

hugs and bags 5What’s Up San Diego? Hugs & Bags is a Hand Up program dedicated to serve Veterans, Youth and Survivors of Human Trafficking along with anyone who may be in transition or who may need resources to help until their next paycheck.

As of last year the Homeless and under-served population in San Diego was estimated at over 10,000 people.

This number does not reflect the women and children who are unaccounted for. We currently host a different location to serve as many people throughout San Diego. Hugs & Bags has grown from 1 person to a team of 10 dedicated volunteers. We have served over 1,250 within the past 6 months. For more information please contact jacquelinepenhos@yahoo.com or visit Hugs & Bags FB page.

hugs and bags 6Hugs & Bags is a monthly event (last Saturday of every month) that gives away Hugs, Meals, Snacks, toiletries, and clothes to Youth, Veterans and women in transition.

Recycling Dollars Online The LADA Group

Recycling is the reprocessing of materials into new products (federal reserve notes to silver eagles)

Recycling prevents useful material resources from being wasted (federal reserve notes sitting in a savings accounts)

Today’s dollar bills are nothing more than pieces of paper with no value, referred to as “Federal Reserve Notes” (FRN). A note in banking terms is considered debt. It is an IOU that promises to repay the borrowed money according to the terms of the note. If you take any FRN out of your wallet and look at it, you will see that there is no promise to pay you anything. In other words, a FRN  is an “IOU nothing.”

In contrast, a one-dollar “Silver Certificate”(1935 series) clearly spelled out the terms of the contract by stating: “THIS CERTIFIES THAT THERE IS ON DEPOSIT IN THE TREASURY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ONE DOLLAR IN SILVER PAYABLE TO THE BEARER ON DEMAND”

The United States Constitution declares, in Article I, Section 10, “No State shall… make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts”. This means that no State can make something besides gold or silver a “tender in payment” (which means they cannot “make something else an offer as payment”) for any debts, which would include debts owed by and to the State. However, EVERY State in the United States of America HAS made some other “Thing” an offer as payment – they have by law declared that they will accept, and pay out, Federal Reserve Notes for any debts owed by or to them.

Therefore, every State is in violation of Article I, Section 10 of the U.S. Constitution. Thus the need for the “Constitutional Tender Act” — a bill template that can be introduced in every State legislature in the nation, returning each of them to adherence to the United States Constitution’s actual legal tender provisions.
