Secrets To Your Own Prosperity

WHAT IS YOUR SOCIOECONOMIC STATUS?

Socioeconomic status (SES) is an economic and sociological combined total measure of a person’s work experience and of an individual’s or family’s economicand social position in relation to others, based on income, education, and occupation.

Your life is formed by the perspectives and philosophies you adapt, and changing your perspective can create an immediate shift in your life and business. To succeed as an Entrepreneur you must constantly look for ways to sharpen your perspective.

One of the greatest philosophies I’ve learned is from business philosopher, Jim Rohn. He stated in one of his early seminars, “You get paid for bringing value to the marketplace, and if you’re not very valuable you don’t make much money.”

HOW DO YOU NETWORK? DEFINITION OF NETWORKING
1. THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION OR SERVICES AMONG INDIVIDUALS, GROUPS, OR INSTITUTIONS.
2. THE ESTABLISHMENT OR USE OF A COMPUTER NETWORK

Most people when networking uses #1 above.

We teach you how to use #2
Network economics refers to business economics that benefit from the network effect. It is also known as Netromix. This is when the value of a good or service increases when others buy the same good or service over and over from each other.

The bottom line is this. You network so you can make some money. That’s why our concentration is on the fastest and most direct Peer to Peer way to get the money without it interfering with what you’re already doing. We are considered as a added value to what you’re already doing.

This principle goes against the mold of what schools teach, how most of us are raised and what media portrays to society. If you understand this powerful philosophy and implement it into your life, you will develop a substantial advantage over those who don’t.

People often blame the economy, their job or the government for their lack of income  but don’t do much to improve their value or skills. The harsh reality we all must understand is you will always be paid exactly what you are worth, or expect you are worthy of.

If somebody is making minimum wage, that’s the value they’re bringing to the market place. Why does somebody make $500 an hour while many others make $15 an hour? It’s quite simple. One has become more valuable to the marketplace than the others.

When you’re more valuable to the marketplace, you make more money. As an entrepreneur, you must consistently find ways to become more valuable. The quicker you understand this the quicker you can advance in our fast paced economy.

The major problem. Time on a job, years at a specific occupation, does not increase the inherent value of the job being done or, in many cases after the first few years, the value of the employee, either.

You often hear people say “I have 20 years of experience, I should get paid more.” If, in actuality, that person has one year of experience repeated 20 times, why would they expect more money? They aren’t becoming more valuable unless they’re sharpening their skills, learning better tools and constantly trying to better themselves.

Value guarantees a higher income, age doesn’t. You don’t get more valuable hanging around for years. Age isn’t value. People who want more money earn it by delivering more value to their business and customers. As entrepreneurs, we have the ability to create much more income as long as we understand this.

What to focus on. “Learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job. If you work hard on your job you can make a living, but if you work hard on yourself you’ll make a fortune.”  Jim Rohn mobilephone-payment

You don’t need to go to work on the economy, you don’t need to change your company, the government, your boss or your circumstances. You need to go to work on yourself. When you change, everything changes for you. You’re the constant. If you change companies, tactics, strategies or mentors, you’re still the constant.

Strive to become a better person. Instead of comparing yourself to others, differentiate. The only person you need to be better than is the person you were yesterday.

How do you bring ‘value’ to the marketplace? By becoming better at everything you do. You will quickly advance in the game of economics when you consistently build your character, skills and value to others.

Make growth a part of your daily agenda. Do something that increases the value you bring to your business, your work, your clients or customers.  it’s not very complicated to change your current income level. You simply need to offer more value to the marketplace.

Here are places where you will reliably find opportunities to increase your value and stand out against your competition.

Expertise. Study your industry, learn from your competitors.

Productivity. What and how much you get done

Efficiency. How you get done what you get done.

Organization/multiplication. How you get things done by means other than manual labor.

Influence. What you can persuade others to get done.

Celebrity status. How well you are known by your target audience.

Reputation. What others know and think about you.

Vision. What you see that others don’t.

Personality. How you treat others and how well you connect.

Attitude. Your attitude towards yourself and towards others.

Awareness. Knowing your strengths and what you’re the best at.

Masterminding. Surrounding yourself with those you can learn from.

There are no limits to your success as an entrepreneur when you commit to growing to a higher level. This is the greatest time in human history for those who make the decision not to tolerate mediocrity, and take 100 percent responsibility for their economic well being. Commit to becoming more valuable. You are always in control of your economy regardless of your outside circumstances.

How To Get Out of Your Way

Getting Out of Your Way

get out the way lead or followThis month, I have been asked a lot about how people can overcome paralysis and self-sabotage, so I thought I’d pass on my ideas on the subject. Getting in your own way is all about how you relate your yourself. In addition to not managing your time effectively, there are many ways you can stop yourself from getting the most out of life—not enjoying what you have or have accomplished; not being able to get motivated, or finish what you begin; and having a negative focus, which leads to discouragement, anxiety, despair and even depression.

Paralysis
When you aren’t able to get yourself motivated, to complete what you start, or to follow through when you need to, it’s called emotional paralysis. The main factors that lead to paralysis are Lack of Self-Trust, Being Outer-directed, Overwhelm, Perfectionism and Negative Thinking. Let’s look at each of these roadblocks, and what you can do about them:

Lack of self-trust:
When you don’t trust yourself, your own judgement, your intelligence, and your ability to manage yourself and make your own decisions, life is too frightening to move. Here’s an exercise abbreviated from It Ends With You to help you strengthen your self-trust.

Steps to self-trust
1. Ask your own opinion. Frequently ask yourself: “What do I think about this? Do I like it? Does it make sense to me? Do I agree or disagree with the others?”
2. Listen to the answer. Listen to your opinions as you would to the ideas of a respected friend. Consider them, weigh them, and even discuss them with yourself from time to time.
3. Repeat until it’s a habit. After a few weeks, you’ll become comfortable with your personal opinions, which will have a profound effect on what you do and how you act. Decision-making will be faster and easier, and you’ll feel much more secure in making decisions.

Being Outer-directed:
Knowing and acting on your own opinion is being inner-directed. Making decisions based on what others want or just reacting and responding to events is being outer-directed. You get along like that for a while, then you grind to a halt and become emotionally paralyzed. You must be the one in charge of your life—I believe it’s what we were designed to do, and I see every day what happens to people who don’t take charge of their thoughts, words and deeds. Once you know your own opinion, you need to act on it. The opinions of others are helpful input, but your decisions must be your own.

Overwhelm:
When you don’t take time to think clearly about the issues and problems in your life, and get mentally organized, you try to solve everything at once, and become overwhelmed and paralyzed. To overcome this problem, write down the thoughts that are racing through your head, make a list of everything that needs to be done, and prioritize. Then, pick one thing, break it down into steps, and begin doing the steps. You’ll find that organizing your thoughts like this makes everything much more manageable.

Perfectionism: The final paralyzer is wanting to do things so perfectly that nothing is good enough. To break the paralysis, lighten up on your demands of yourself. Be a supportive, encouraging friend to yourself, not a demanding boss.

Negative thinking
By far the biggest roadblock in your relationship with yourself and with life is negative thinking. Many of my clients are afraid that recognizing problems, difficulties and grief is the same as negative thinking, and therefore, they ricochet back and forth between pretending to be happy and feeling hopeless.

Grieving is not negative thinking, it’s an adjustment in feelings. If you allow yourself to acknowledge whatever feelings you have (anger, fear, sadness, joy) you’ll be able to feel real happiness when it comes. Negative thinking is actually scaring oneself. To latch on to only the negative things, to “catastrophize” about how awful things are or will become creates unnecessary tension and stress—and eventual paralysis.

The antidote to negative thinking is trust. Trust yourself—you have a direct line to eternal wisdom, and expressing your feelings clears up the static so you’ll know what is most important for you in this moment. Trust your family and friends—they love you, they want to help, so let in the love they give you. Living as truthfully as you can—including when you’re upset, frightened, or hurting—will put you in harmony with God’s plan for your life. Above all, trust Love—trust that you are surrounded with it, that your loved ones love you back, that you were created by Love, and, when it’s time, you will be re-created by Love. Trust the blessings of life—even the worst things will somehow turn out to be a blessing, though you may not be able to see it now. Eternal Wisdom is so much bigger than we are, and we cannot understand all its workings, but “all the Power that ever was or will be, is here now” and we are all safe.

Living Life More Abundantly

abundant livingHow can we live more fulfilling lives today and for all eternity?

Abundant-living-quotesTo one degree or the other, most people on earth today live miserable, empty, meaningless lives. There are exciting moments here and there. There is relief now and then. But generally speaking, from birth to death, day in and day out, the majority of humanity lives tough, despondent and desperate lives. This is not what God had in mind when He created human beings.

Jesus Christ said, “The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). He came that we might have abundant life now—and later on for all eternity.

You might have heard of the old saying “misery is optional,” and it really is. God did not create human beings to be miserable. Misery comes from wrong choices. Unhappiness is caused by wrong decisions.

Happiness does not depend on possessions

When you consider someone who has the abundant life, one of the words that ought to come to mind is happiness. If someone is living the abundant life, they are truly happy! Proverbs 29:18 is one of the most succinct and concise summations of the abundant life: “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.” Sometimes we fail and slip up. Then we must repent and receive forgiveness from God and get back on track. But in every situation and in every circumstance, we must try to keep God’s law. If we do that, we are going to be happy and blessed and live the abundant life.

Does that mean we will not have problems? Struggles and difficulties are part of the learning experience and part of building holy, righteous, godly character. Trials and challenges are part of developing endurance and showing God what kind of core values we have. But overall, God intends our lives to be happy and full of joy. That comes about by keeping His law, the Ten Commandments. All ten of them! They are summed up in two great ones—love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and soul; and love your neighbor as yourself (Matt. 22:37–40).

When you bring up the subject of the abundant life, most people start thinking about who they are around, where they can travel and what possessions they have—the home, the car, the clothes, the job and the money in the bank. Some have a boat, a second house, a cabin in the mountains, a home on the beach. Others possess a ritzy apartment downtown, an expensive art collection, private club membership, and maybe even a private airplane. When people hear about the rich and the famous, they often look on with envy and say, “Oh, I just want to be like them someday because they really do have the abundant life.” But they really do not have the abundant life!

You can be surrounded by all those things and still be miserable. The only way a person is going to be happy, whether he has a lot or has nothing, is to base his life on God’s law, in the spirit and in the letter. Happiness and the abundant life will follow.

Abundant living is the way of life based on God’s law of love. It comes from within. Happiness does not depend on people, places or things: “And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesses” (Luke 12:15). So do we go to the other extreme and say the more poverty we live in, the happier we will be? The situation we live in is not the determining factor. The deciding factor is if we are obeying God’s law. Does it start from within, from the heart?

Circumstances, people, places and things can add to our happiness—can be contributing factors. But they are not determining factors. The abundant life is not based on what you have or who you know. Some of the happiest people do not have much. On the other hand, there are those who have a lot and are happy and some who have little and are miserable. It all comes down to attitude and outlook—positive or negative: “All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart has a continual feast. Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith. Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith” (Prov. 15:15–17).

Road map to peace

I have been to dinners in mansions where rich people are sitting around being waited on and the cutlery is the best, the china is the best and the food is the best. But there is no happiness around the table. I have been in other places where the silverware does not match, the plates are a bit cracked, the table is wobbly and the meal was peas, turnip greens, cornbread, iced tea, and homemade berry pie. But the fun, the laughter, and the joy were bountiful! Material possessions only enhance the happiness achieved by obeying God. It comes down to the way we think and what we do with what we are given.

Anyone who leads an abundant life is at peace. The whole world wants peace, but they want peace their way. How do they go about trying to achieve this peace? By political maneuvering, military development and producing lots of wealth—none of which ever brings peace! The only way anybody can ever have peace of mind and the only way the world will ever have peace is found in Psalms 119:165: “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” When we obey God and follow Jesus Christ, we think about the Ten Commandments more. We try to keep them with God’s help, and the result is happiness, peace and joy, in our lives and in the lives of anyone else that has that understanding and approach—even whole nations. God gives us our needs and more. We receive unexpected benefits: “For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly” (Psa. 84:11). Anything, spiritual or physical, that would be good for us, God will provide in His time if we walk uprightly and keep on trying to grow and overcome. Sometimes He waits awhile so we can develop more patience, because that is also a part of the abundant life.

Abundant living is built on God’s law, kept through the power of God’s Holy Spirit. This produces the fruits of the spirit—love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance (Gal. 5:22–23). Look at Micah 6:8: “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” All of these qualities are based on God’s commandments.

So what does God require of us in order to be happy? What does He require of us in order to live in peace? What does He require of us in order to enjoy blessings from Him and the abundant life He wants to give to all of us and to all of mankind?

Here is what He requires—do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God. That is the way of life rooted in His perfect law. That is truly living life more abundantly!
